Start by keeping yourself busy. Learn a new hooby that keeps your hands busy such as knitting, needlepoint, cross stitching, crocheting, etc. Chew on carrots, ice chips, celery, etc.

It is very hard, ,Start by making a chart, and with each cigarette you take. Write down the time, What your doing, after a while you will see a pattern, For instance, When you are on the phone, So not you have to do something else while your on the phone. Each thing you do you have to change, Because when you find out the most times you smoke and when you smoke, then you can change it. I hope that helped. Also No one can really help you, only you can do this, good Luck

I hv been smoking 4 more than 10 years before, and quit in less then 10 min but the things is i always heard people complaining about how hard it is to quit smoking. hell ..its come from your self, dont blame the substance, its never addicted. Its your brain that telling you that you need certain dosage of nircotine to your body everytime you re trying to quit then. I mean its you the one who are being hard to let go of the habbit. But anyway if you your self cant seem to copeup with this problem try chewing some of those nircotina stuff which were on the market. It wont heal you but at least it will keep you of the habbits of puffing of up a bit. Try to avoid your self in the middle of a smoking community, do sport or any other actvity which will sweat you out. one of a usefull stuff that can help u is water. Drink, take a shower or any other way you could think of with this stuff as long as it keep you away from your habbit. last but not least, get a grip of your self then, u re young and you should enjoyed ur self more.. gud luck to you then.

I have been a smoker for 25 years and i feel you. Will power and hard candy is the best thing, the addiction is something in your hands and mouth, i could not smoke at work so the hard candy helped very much. You should think about telling your mom, she will be mad but she will help you quit. Good luck.

Focus on your future. Were will you like to be 5 years from now? How will you get there? Think of a plan, and keep working on it. By keeping yourself busy every time you think of a smoke. All successful people in business don't smoke. (well, most i should say). You seem like someone who would like to have a lot of class and style as time goes. Blowing smoke out of your mouth isn't too attractive for anyone anymore. Work on your goal and you'll be good.

its going to take more than a month or two to stop smoking. ur best choice is to tell ur mom ur problem bcuz if she is a good mother and a good person she will elp u out with this situation. 2nd u should go on the patch or chew the gum. good luck, i no how it is to grow up with family who smokes heavily. just believe u can stop, thats what i did.

it will probably take you at least six months to really "get over" cigarrettes, and even so you will probably still get cravings from time to time. But, it is certainly manageable once you get over the "hump". Finding something else (that is not harmful) to occupy your mind will probably be the best solution. Try to go three days, I hear that is the first step.
