Does it start in the demis and work its way up and out of the skin or does it start in the epidermis? I have burnt this thing off 4 times now and I am about to go to general surgery to get this thing excised off of my otherwise pretty hand.

I'm so sorry to say that the wart virus is in a person's system, not just in one spot. It can be very stubborn! Even with surgery it can come back, or reappear somewhere else. The best results my daughter has had were from laser removal, those warts have stayed away, but she still gets smaller warts from time to time. Some people grow out of it - kids get more warts than adults. Good luck!

That problem will be with you for some time, they're stubborn. Hopefully your body's immune system will take over, but you can also go to a Derm. and see about removing what's visible. Bear in mind the virus is still in your body and it can reappear any time.
