I don't really get alot of zits, but I have some pesky blackheads I can't get rid of. I need to know if Proactive works for blackheads, and also if it dries out your skin, because I have that problem, too. Also if anyone knows a good face mask to use pease tell me! I use Mint Julep...it's that green thick stuff you spread on your face, then wash it off when it dries. Do the creamy, thick kind of masks work better, or the face PEELS?

girl get the proactive, it is off the chain. !!!!! i used to use it for myself and my oldest child. the stuff really works. but go on the website, and order it. its really cheaper, if u do it that way. verses go in the mall and get if from the cart. and they do have a mask, that works well on blackheads, etc. i am proof it does work. so give it a try. !!!! good luck

I have your same problem, St. Ives apricot scrub face wash works well. I like the Walmart generic one better. The mint julep works well too.

i use proactive i like it but it does NOT work on blackheads. i found that using the Biore Pore strips(ultra) work the best to keep them under control. once a week. Biore also has a heat mask that works well too.

i used to use proactive, but i stopped because it dried my face out and ever since ive used it, ive had a really bad redness to my face that wont go away.

i would try a face peel that would maybe work better.
