? about relatives?
I recently wrote a letter to a relative who hasn't spoken to me for a while, but I'm not sure why. In the letter I said that I would like to put whatever hard feelings there are between us aside and try to work things out. I know she's been busy with other things, but how long would you wait for a response, and would you call her if she didn't respond, and try and talk it out?

call and get a straight forward answer... so you will know.....
don't beat around the bush..... it's Christmas........
live and let live, and let the past go.... there may not
be many more to enjoy.......and at this time you do need
your family, no matter what.... i know that from a tragic
incident that happened this past Monday, with my
brother.... he's in the hospital fighting for his life.....
haven't saw him in 6yrs..... regret every minute of
it.....he's on morphine right now, don't even know if he
knows I'm there.....

I think you have to call her right away, coz you are not sure if she receive the letter or not. Or another way is to see her in person if you can. I know she will talk to you and forgive you. But if she is not ready yet, give her time, later on she will realize and makes things work out. You have a good heart to do the first move. God bless you!

You have done your part by writing to her. You just have to wait for the respond. Remember that it was quiet awhile, so your relative may be contemplating as how to respond to you. Be patient and give them some time.

If they wanted to put aside bad feelings about you they would get back to you in a few days otherwise they don't care.
