i've recently gotten a speeding ticket from Louisiana state, I have a Texas DL.. I was speeding 80 in a 60mph zone, because I did not notice the speed went from 70 down to 60. I wanted to know around how much would the ticket be if i pay for it... and is there any other options? I can not find any information on it... and YES i have tried calling them.. they said i have to wait for 3 more weeks for the ticket to actually get in the system.. or else they will not give me any information. ANYTHING would help. Thanks!

and btw will my insurance go up?

You are out of state. strike 1. 20 over you are lucky you only got a ticket. It takes time to process yes. You should have a court date on the ticket.

Your insurance will go up. Out of state speeding is brutal. I live in N. Louisiana. I got a ticket for going 55 in a 45 and it cost me $175.

Depends on where you get it. I got two in Grambling, bot going 45 in a 35. The cost was $145 each. Your insurance is supposed to go up, but it doesn't in all cases. For instance, mine hasn't because I paid with a money order and they pocketed the money without reporting the tickets to whoever they were supposed to report them to.
