Like maybe a composite gun that shoots ceramic bullets? Does it have to be metal? I think it would be scary if they had guns like that.

The CIA commissioned a weapon during the 1980's that was constructed of composite materials and non-ferrous metals that fired caseless ammo, had no ejection port, had an integral silencer and full-automatic capibility. Somehow the damn thing ended up on the front page of a major shooting magazine. I don't remember which one it was, but I remember reading the article.
A little research ought to uncover the photos and article. good luck, It might have been Shooting Times, Guns, Guns and Ammo or Soldier of Fortune.
At any rate, It was never intended for public distribution....
.....Just deniable assainations.

Think about it:

Caseless ammo, weapon constructed totally from a high-strength composite material...I've seen that somewhere, can't recall, though. Absolutely feasible.
