Alright-
This guy I know from hockey is going to Canada with his team in Jan. I kind of have a crush on him. Well, anyway, we don't get to see each other often, but I kind of think he likes me back. So, I was going to give him a card saying good luck and kick some a$$ and in it I would put my name (Duh!) and email.
So, what do you think? Stupid? Corny?
Please, I need to know before I make a fool of myself. Thanks!

No, not stupid at all! I think that is a cool idea because it is not like you are saying "I like you...do you like me? huh? huh? huh?huh?.
It is just a guy you know and you are both into the same sport so you are wishing him well and giving him contact info in case he wants to thank you for the card or tell you how much he's hoping his team kicks butt.
If he doesn't reply, that's cool. All you did was give him a card, it's not like you ask him to marry you, right?
It sounds like the perfect opportunity to let him know that you've "noticed" him without having to risk anything. Where were you back when I needed a plan like that to hook up with a guy? I always did the dumb stuff like dropping my book so they'd pick it up for me (and they always just looked at me like "dam, you clumsy" hehehe).

Nah, it sweet and non-commital - the puck will be in his court. If he emails you it will a good goal, but remember he is going to compete so not getting an email is not a complet blow off - The card is a n_ice jesture
