First of all if he is a dedicated golfer like you say...DONT get him golf clubs because is better to get clubs fitted...what is nice is a dozen golf balls...lik titleist pro v1s...srixon soft feel... Also you can get him a certificate to a round of golf... the new callaway divot fork and ball marker is a nice gift.... Other wise get him a G-Clip its one of the nicest golf gifts you can give a person.

He probably already has everything then, so you might want to try something unusual. I found a site where you can get FREE Golf Scoring Software - which would make a nice stocking stuffer if he doesn't have something already. Also lots of "different" types of gifts. Just be sure to order things online before the 19th to be sure you get in time for Christmas. I think the FREE Software comes via email, so that is a safe bet.

Some suggestions golfers like:

You can have his set regripped with some nice grips (every golfer loves fresh grips). Grips are about $5 a piece (installed)

A nice accessory is the Scotty Cameron pitch mark/divot repair tool ( most shops will sell it for $10 bucks)

Callaway scorecard holder

There is always use for a new towel on the bag, towels keep the clubs, grip and balls clean.

a great gift is a putting mat you can buy at a better sporting goods store or golf store, it is a little piece of carpet, about a foot wide and about 10 feet long, at the end it goes up a little hill into a hole, even if you miss the putt the ball will come down a little ramp back to you. no matter how good a golfer you are, you can always work on your putting. putting is about 40% or more of the game. you can fold it up and put it away anywhere, it only weighs a few pounds and I think it costs about $30.00 new, I bought a used one for $10.00 and I use it all the time. you can set it up anywhere

My dad is really into playing golf (and so am I), so the things I like to buy him (as well as the things I like to be given) are a gift certificate for a round of golf (some municipal courses aren't expensive at all; you can find some decent courses for $25 a round), a gift card to his favorite golf outlet (let him pick what he wants!), a new golf glove (sneak a peek at the inside of his glove and see what size it is), his favorite golf balls, a punch card to the driving range, golf tees (any golfer can always use these), new spikes for his shoes...

I hope this gives you some ideas!

It depends on your budget. Golfers always appreciate new clubs, esp. the high tech just coming out; that is if you have plenty of money! Electric Cart, Golf membership, are among those expensive gifts. If you'd like to scale down a bit, how about golf balls with his name, or something you like for him to read on. Golf Glove, golf tee. All this can be ordered custom-made to have something written on them. It would take sometime like a couple of weeks though. If you just wanna buy them off the shelf, Golfers alway need these things, Golf balls, golf glove (need to fit you have to look at the size of the present one he uses usually in his golf bag), golf tee, ball marker, golf cap&sock. All you can buy a set of the combination of those things. Have fun.

They have probably got all they need for their golf and will receive loads of pressies they don`t need. So , why not make up a golf related mini-hamper. Club biscuits Cheese balls Green tea (tee) + (green) bags Sandpaper ( bunker) A spirit miniature ( 19th hole ) the clubhouse Put in a little box , a tenner or less. I love Secret Santa . If he loves to golf, don't buy anything like golf balls or a club. He already has them. Instead I bet he just wants to golf with his own son. Try getting 2 tickets to a nice golfing place so the only you 2 could spend some quality time together and he would like to golf.

My Dad loves golf too. In the past I've gotten him a subscription to Golf Magazine, gift certificates for a round of golf at the golf coarse that he enjoys, golf shirts, dozen golf balls, gift certificates for the local golf shop and windproof jacket.

Does he like any sports teams? My dad is a huge georgia bulldogs fans. So, one year for Christmas, I gave him some golf tees with thier logo on them. You can get a lot of different little accessories like that, golf towells, balls , etc.
