So its inbound, for a major phone company mainly taking calls from customers in regards to billing inquiries, etc. basically customer service. so anyways they said its commision based and will require sales, for example, if the customer calls the UK a lot to offer them a package that fits their international calling habits. so im a bit worried, because i hear that some call centers cut you off if you dont make the sale or make quotas....if you know anything about this job, please please please respond and tell me all you know or even your previous or present experience working in a call center doing only inbound calls but having to sell too....thank you

I worked at outbound and it wasn't bad, it got an hourly pay plus commission. Selling isn't hard you just have to ask the customer really politely, don't worry because telecommunications is the best call centre to work at because you just have to offer some rates...
Good luck...

Very casual because you are NOT in the eye of the public.. It still, however, would be best to be cleanly dressed... with a nice pair of jeans and a shirt and/or a tee shirt that is presentable.

I've never heard about that. It seems so horrible! Is that true?
