today i just started sneezing then next thing you know my head is stuffed and my nose and throat hurt a little. How can I stop from getting fully sick? or is it to late?

same thing happened to me. it was to late. but i got my sickness from my bf, i was diagnosed with acute bronchitis. anyways but i had those same symtoms. they put me on antibiotics especially cause i smoke. not much but i guess its necessary. but hot tea with honey works, sudafed, dayquil, you just gotta basically let your body fight it off. takes about 1-2 weeks to get rid of it. and you are contagious by the way so cover up!!!! good luck and i hope you feel better soon!

There's something called Cold MD at drug stores, I haven't personally tried it but it's suppose to cut the time that you're sick in half. I usually take Vitamin C pills, orange juice and water. I also take Tylenol Cold, the new liquid stuff daytime and nightime, I usually feel better in about a week, 'til then the medicine holds off the symptoms and I can function normally, w/ the daytime tylenol you don't have the medicine head you get w/ other cold medicines.

Take some zinc lozenges. Zinc has been shown to reduce the severity and length of colds considerably... They really do work! Also drink lots of water and get plenty of rest.

Drinking orange juice and cran apple and cran grape juice always helps me get better faster.

take transfer factors they knock that stuff on the had quick!

Alka seltzer cold used to work for me. I myself can't take it now as I have high blood pressure, but it used to work for me.
