It sounds like you had a field day with your mother's cards. Who did you think was going to pay for that? Some people just have to learn the hard way. Go to jail. Do not collect $200.

First, stop screaming.
Second, get real.
You commit grand larceny on your own mother and now you want to whine and moan about the consequences.
You obviously HAVE NOT lived on the streets. If you had done this on the streets, you probably would have been shot, killed, or hurt.
Wake up and smell the Starbucks Coffee.
And finally, ditch the entitlement mentality. It is not flaterring.

If you don't pay it, she will either have to pay it herself, or file a police report and have you arrested. The credit card co. doesn't care which one. It's not fraud unless she calls the police (as far as the cc co. is concerned)

my answer is you're a dumb ***, and you're lucky the credit card company isn't prosecuting you for fraud.
and you're lucky your parents didn't beat you. what the heck did you spend $5,000 on? (1/2 of which would be the $2,500 you owe)
