Also if you have a program called SIW (System Information for Windows) you can easily start that up and look for licenses and file versions. I can't remember where exactly I got it, but it's free and is a very useful tool.

Double click on [My Computer]
At the top you will see [File] [Edit] [Favorites] [Tools] [Help]
Click on [Help]
Move down to [About Windows] and click on it.
This should tell you what version Windows you are currently running

go to....START > RIGHT CLICK MYCOMPUTER > PROPERTIES IT WILL GIVE YOU INFO THERE OF TYPE OF OS, MAKE/MODEL COMPUTER, PROCESSOR TYPE AND SPEED AND AMOUNT RAM INSTALLED
