And who else agrees with me that he's a looney?

Not only does he follow creationism, he also is a suppressor of equal rights, believes in conspiracy theories, and says democracy is evil, but he also evaded taxes because he said that he works for God and is "exempt from paying taxes."

1 stupid thing +1 stupid thing+1 stupid thing = 3 stupid things (aka Kent Hovind)

thespill, I have listened to what he said, and it doesn't make sense. Take a look at this:

www.kent-hovind.com

I wouldn't call him a looney if I didn't know who we was, would I?

kait, the reason he has never lost a debate is he always invites evolutionists to debate him in creationist settings where nobody writes down what he says, and that he only invites the worst debators. He never accepts an offer to go to a public seminar and debating the subject amongst a neutral setting where his words are recorded because he knows that he cannot win when his opponent is given fair circumstances....

Don't forget that he introduces himself as Dr. Kent Hovind, while his degree is from a cut rate theological university where all of his supposed knowledge is on biological creation, ie science. This man actually started a theme park that depicts dinosaurs and people co-existing. He wants to scientifcally prove creationism. I guess next he will probably try to prove that pi is 3, which is also stated in the bible. What a joke.

Ol' Doc Dino. Who got his doctorate from some house. He also believes dinosaurs still live. Some dinos? Nessie, Moleke Mbembe, Ogo Pogo (the Canadian lake monster who's name I can't remember), and others. He claims that he was a high school science teacher which supposedly gives him some sort of knowledge about science and gives the impression that he knew about evolution and rejected. Funny thing is, he was a science teacher at a Christian private school that rejected evolution and didn't teach it at all.

My absolute favorite Hovindism is his constant claim that evolution should be taken out of the classrooms because it's a religion and his tax dollars are paying for it. Ludicrous not only because evolution isn't a religion (time is not our god, Mr. Hovind), but even more so because he doesn't pay taxes.

I have met him in person. He is very brilliant and a wonderful bible scholar. He is a Creation Scientist and has travelled the globe giving seminars on Creation verses evolution. He has never lost a debate on the issue and is offering large sums of cash to anyone who can prove evolution is true. He is no looney, just very outspoken.
