When we lost "family"--when kids started coming home from school to an empty house because careers were more important, when we sent our 6 mos. old baby to daycare. I did it so I'm not condeming anyone else who did or does, but in retrospect I'd of given up the extra paycheck to have one of us be home!

when spirituality was replaced, in mass, by an argument of nothing more than who's omnipotent being could draw more popularity within the earth's mortal masses. Instead of love and generosity, the zealots of holy warmongers have spread blood, betrayal, and seeds of hatred which has caused entire countries to turn on there neighbors. It reminds me of another societal plague which nearly detroyed our country because of its ability to grow from nothing more than the same seeds of hatred which rage throughout the world's religious sects. If one simply observes historical fact, it is clear that some happening create prosperity, while others lead to hatred, humankind has an uncanny talent to hover mainly toward the negative, im not against god or anyone who wishes to take that path, but I am against the turning of something sacred, which we were all meant to hold as our own, into an ever-contradictory blubering nursery, where bickering babies belittle their "flock" so that they never believe they can have a relationship with a higher power without them.

When gold replaced God. When families splitted. When parents started neglecting their duties and spoiling their children. When our values were replaced by status symbols. When we started questioning and rejecting any kind of authority. When everything is allowed or excused. When we stopped thinking with our own mind. When we started joining religions and political ideologies cheering and supporting them just as if they were sport teams. Maybe with passion, but no critical sense.

The moment someone decided that everyone else needed to believe the same thing he did.

And HELLO to that person who answered first??? Nobody kicked prayer out of schools. There is simply no ORGANIZED prayer in public schools. You can pray whenever you want to as long as you don't interfere with someone else's learning. Pray all you want. Also, for pete's sake -- pray at home, at church, on your way to and from places... you have all sorts of opportunities to pray. That old saw is REALLY OLD. Give it up already.
