Under normal circumstances a partial downloaded file should not appear in your sytem. The file would have to be 100% downloaded an either saved in which case you would just find the file to where you saved and delete. Otherwise a file not saved or installed should not exist.

You can download a free program that I use an is excellent. http://www.ccleaner.com (Known as the Crap Cleaner). Comes in many diff., languages, free updates for all new version. And 100% free of any malware. Plus you can change the defaults setting as to what you want deleted from your system.

You can go to start, search for files, type in the name of the program you downloaded and scan. See if any part of the program shows up in your system. If so, delete the files.

I doubt if you will find a partial downloaded file via start, run, type in: c://program files, click on browse, click on program files, open and look for the program. If the name is there then delete.

Highlight the file on your desktop (assuming it isn't just a shortcut to a program) then press and hold SHIFT then DEL. This will delete it from your computer totally, bypassing your recycling bin.
