i would keep a headache til i drank more coffee, but it took less every time. now i am down to a few cups a day instead of 2 - 3 pots a day.

Mine lasted about a week. But I guess it all depends. Every once in a while I get a mild headache, but it doesn't happen that often. You may need just a little caffiene to help.

As long as you don't want to have sex :P with your partner.
About 2 weeks for me, but that might be wife and child that gave me the headache.

mine will only last just that one day that it starts until i sleep then i wake up feeling better. headache free

You can avoid them if you taper off instead of quitting cold turkey.
