------------------------MIXED FRUIT SALAD-----------------------------
2 mangoes; ripe
1 papaya; ripe
1 pineapple
2 oranges
2 bananas
1 lime, juice of
110 g sugar water
1 ts vanilla
25 ml rum

Instructions

Peel and dice the mangoes, papaya and pineapple. Peel the oranges,
remove the pips and divide into sections. Peel and slice the bananas
and sprinkle the lime juice over them to prevent discoloration.
lightly mix all the fruit together in a salad bowl. Boil the sugar
and water together and when sugar has dissolved remove from the heat
and allow to cool. Add the vanilla essence and rum to the sugar syrup
and pour over the fruit salad. Leave in the refrigerator to cool
before serving.

There is no one answer to this question. Mixed fruit salads can vary. Basically you can take any fruit you like, dice it all up, combine them all together in a bowl and your done. Some great fruits to use are Watermelon, Strawberries, cherries, bananas, oranges, apples, grapefruit, canteloupe, honeydew melon, grapes, pears, mangoes. And that's only a few! If your preparing it early, add a small amount of lemon juice to stop some of the fruit from browning. When your serving it and you want that little bit of extra sweetening, shake some icing suger and toss that through. mmmm yummm.

MIXED FRUIT SALAD

2 med. apples, diced
2 med. oranges, peeled and diced
2 lg. bananas, diced
15-20 seedless grapes, halved
5 walnuts
2 c. sour cream

Combine first 4 ingredients in bowl. Add walnuts and sour cream. Stir gently. Serve at once. 6 servings.

ew don't put sour cream in it. just cut up like 2 or 3 pieces of each kind of fruit and mix it all up.

Get your favirote fruits & blend it all together & mix it with cherry juice & mix it in a bowl & eat it.

cut up some apples, bananas, oranges & then add a can (VERY WELL DRAINED) of chunky fruit cocktail & some halved grapes. Top it off with fresh whipped cream...
That is all I do, but you can do what you like.
Tangerines go good also.
