Herbed Macaroni Parmesan

Ingredients

(4 servings)

8 oz Macaroni noodles
3 tb Margarine
1/2 c Grated Parmesan cheese(2 oz)
1 x Italian Plum Tomato, chopped
2 tb Minced fresh Basil(2 t dried
2 tb Chopped fresh Parsley
1 ds Freshly ground black pepper


Instructions

GARNISH: broccoli florets, optional Bring large pot of water to boil; cook pasta until al dente. When pasta is done, drain well. Toss hot noodles with margarine to melt. Add other ingredients. Toss to combine. Garnish with broccoli florets. VARIATIONS: - add sauteed mushroom slices or your choice of steamed

Boil Pasta 8-10 minutes USE LOTS OF WATER (this avoids starchy sticking) you may add a pinch of salt if you like (Makes water hotter before it reaches steam, boils at like 215*F instead of 212*F), add pasta, cook until just slightly firm "Al dente" (to the tooth), add "Locatelli" Romano cheese (anything else is just a waste of time), blast with fresh cracked pepper, decorate with lemon rind twist, and Parsley, YOU"RE THERE !

All depends if you want a cheese sauce or to have grated or cubed cheese going through your pasta with butter and milk. I look up that stuff on allrecipies.com
