I don't believe that anyone should play a superior role in society based on genetics.

I don't support feminism, but I do support women in the church. My wife served as my co-pastor and she is now in biblical studies. I think women can do anything men can. I just haven't heard a woman who made a good preacher. I'm sure there are though.

If God truly had a favorite (men), then I don't think He would create women. God loves all His children and without differences. To God, women have equal rights, but to humans, things are different. It is only a matter of time before all is equal on earth as well. In truth, why should men care? Would pride or ego be in the way?

I think feminism is the worst thing that ever happened to women. Feminism took away my right to be treated like a lady. I believe that women should behave as the Bible teaches. They should submit to their husband's authority, they should dress like women (no pants) They should have long hair not look like men. God made men and women different for a reason. I like having my doors opened for me. Men should never speak to a woman harshly. They are to be gentle and nice to us because we are the weaker sex. I want to be treated like a lady not like a guy.

Liberals, yes they support womens everything. Orthodox, no, they do not think women have a big role in the Church outside of teaching children and such and especially they are not to be priests or clergy..

Ugg....feminism. Why? So you can think you aren't some object in Christs eyes? I sincerly hope the church doesn't support women who want to put their families on teh back burners to be "independant" Or do what they want, make their husbands feel like some sloppy pig when all he wants to do is support his family.

There is nothing wrong with a woman working and being in a leadership position. It is how they use the authority that decides if what they are doing is wrong.

a womans role is to glorify God same as a man. why dont we set aside these petty differences and love one another as Christ loved us. stop worring about other peoples problems and look at our own.

Equal rights? You bet.
The same roles? No. I cannot be a mother (that's Biology 101) and women cannot be priests (that's Theology 101). Different Order, different Roles.
