The world population is six billion,if each person planted ten trees per year, that makes sixty billion trees. If everyone carried on planting trees for the next five years that would make 300 billion trees. After five years you will have cut down on global warming. Everyone would continue on planting trees and if everyone used wood to burn instead of oil and elec the energy problem would be solved too.

Me, I DEFINITELY think that our lifestyle is indeed affecting the environment. I think that global warming is a terrible issue plaguing our planet. Here are some means which I try to practice to reduce global warming. I encourage my parents to let me walk to school instead of they driving me. I am person that studies Environmental Science therefore I try my best to implore to people means of keeping a healthy environment. All I do is try best to ensure we have a clean environment by telling them about the effects of global warming. Right now its critical that we educate others about global warming. In addition, the pizza place where I work part time uses there waste carbon dioxide emitted to heat there hot water needed for various reasons. I was the one who encouraged this after seeing this on television. People should try to encourage this practice as the carbon dioxide emitted in atmosphere cause global warming. In addition, we use motorcycles powered by electricity when delivering pizza. All we can do is educate people on the topic as much possible. These include ways such as through the media ( radio, t.v. , newspaper), going into our schools and workplaces, using billboards, flyers, advertising on food articles such as boxes etc. Just as much as possible to tell about this problem and in doing so we evaluate the effects of gobal warming and ultimately means of mitigating the issue.

Using trees and the photosythesis is a great way to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere for sure. But if you start burning these trees for fuel your just adding that carbon back into the atmosphere. Trees are only a temporary carbon sink and a longer term solution needs to be found but for now trees are a dang good Idea.

Another solution is extracting the CO2 from the atmosphere and injecting it into deep wells such as in an abandoned oil field. This is a new process that is still in the works.

The best way that all 6 billion people can solve some of the issues with global warming is conservation. Changing to efficient light bulbs, better insulated houses, fuel efficent cars, keeping your houses temp turned down in the winter are all ways to conserve energy and will result in savings in your pocket too.

To really combat climate change, our dependence on oil needs to be undone. Alternative fuel sources need to be used more effectively.

The big thing is the 3 R's Reduce, Reuse and Recycle by doing this and changing our energy sources we can beat climate change.

And we have to work together globally

Think globally act locally

There are several steps that should be taken the fix the problem of global polution and energy needs. First thing is replace landfills with a process to eliminate litter and trash by transforming it into oil. Second, grow lots more biomass(billions of tons) and make oil from it. Third, use solar energy by farming in salt water and growing plants to use for making oil. Grow enough plants to make all the oil needed and pump the excess into exhausted oil fields. Solar energy can supply all the energy required to produce more oil than can be used so the surplus can be pumped back into the ground. The best thing any single person can do is ask why no one is doing anything to remove CO2 from the atmosphere. Everyone wants to stop exhausting CO2 but no one is asking about removing the CO2 now in the atmosphere causing a problem. Fix the problem and it will not matter that CO2 is exhausted because more will be absorbed.

People should stop using too many cars and stop burning anything that can in danger human lives. That includes burning fossil fuels. Pollution in water would also be a threat if it continues. I like your idea, it's the best I've heard from someone who wants the global warming to stop.
