Mind what you drink or smoke !
(This is a joke, not a serious answer).
If you want a serious one:
go to a very high place on the Andes, near the Equator, by night, far from the city lights, and look at the sky above you.
That's the most intense spiritual experience I ever had.

stay as far away as you possibly can from organized religion. That's going to do the exact opposite. If you really want a spiritual experience, take a good long walk through the woods and try to connect with the world around you. Good luck

An accident can help, here are a few inspirational ideas…
- crash your car real hard and fly out the front windscreen and land on the other car
- fall backwards off a roof and land on your head
- get your leg caught under a lawn mower
- go to Africa and tease a lion so he chases you, run like hell and then slow down to catch your breath, and let him take a chunk out of your butt.
If these (or similar) don’t work, you can always go to church and listen to a preacher, but it’s not the same as there’s no substitute for the genuine religious experience.

You need to ask sincerly. It won't happen if all you are looking for is proof.
Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don

Simply be open to it.
I guess that depends on what you consider as a spiritual experience....
Watching the sun rise as I drive to work is a very spiritual expereince for me. Holding my friend's 6-month old son is very spiritual for me.

take all the spiritual things that you believe possible and/or want to think about, and meditate. if you do it with a clear mind and heart, you will be shown what you need, or given a feeling of certainty that is for you and you alone, although you will most likely follow one path or another, to god

Let your heart and mind be open to the love and mercy of the one true God, and accept forgiveness and salvation thru His Son, Jesus.
That's the one and greatest spiritual experience.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Just accept Jesus into your heart and let the Holy Spirit guide you. It will also help to pray and fast.
