What would have to happen for people to stop using the word "extremist" to describe Islamic murder?

Almost all armed conflicts, worldwide are rooted in Islamic idealogy: Chechnya, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Somolia, Sudan and Dafur genocide, Chad, Phillipines, Indonesia, Lebanon, Palastine, Iraq, Algeria, Southern India, Kashmir, etc..

Despite the amount of war Muslims are involved in, many people still insist on using the word "extremist" to describe a Muslim whose violence is correlated to his religious beliefs.

We dont use the phrase "Islamic / Christian violence" to describe Muslims or Christians, involved in every day crime. We use "Islamist violence" to connote the miltia or terror groups stated religious objectives.

Have you ever seen footage of Muslims fighting where they were not praising Allah? "Alluah Akbar!" and then the RPG fires. "Alluah Akbar" and then the IED is detonated.

Imagine it, praising God before your murder, like a Christian at a dinner table saying blessings (PS, Im agnostic). Unlike other religions, no religious guilt plagues a muslim who murders.

Can you think of any non-muslim who felt good about his killing based on his religion? Every christian killer on death row "repents" and asks "forgiveness".

People, honestly, Muslims just dont have to do that...not when killing non-muslims. Read the Quran. They get a reward. They have every reason to rejoice.

HOW DOES A MUSLIM WHO KILLS DO ANYTHING EXTREME CONSIDERING THE AMOUNT OF KILLING MUSLIMS DO IN THE NAME OF THEIR GOD AND THE LITERAL ENDORSEMENT OF KILLING UNBELIEVERS IN THE QURAN ITSELF?

Not all of those conflicts you mention are rooted in religion. Chechnya is about autonomy from Moscow, 3000 miles away. Chad is about diamonds. Palestine, Iraq, and Algeria are about foreign occupation and/ or colonialism. Kashmir is a land dispute. Lebanon is about Palestine.

I am afraid that all Muslims have gone away..Besides they will not respond to questions like this because it cannot be defended. They know what you say here is sadly true..In my opinion Islam unlike most other religions has not had its reformation yet..They have not learned tolerance yet. The other Jews and Christians have learned that killing in the name of god is an antiquated notion, and therefore stopped its practice. Islam has only had to mingle with outside would since the start of the industrial revolution (oil ) They are still living about 3 or 400 hundred years behind the west. Its almost like a sibling rivalry .. If they continue with the current path their reformation will be sooner rather than later.and then perhaps the ones that are left will realize that we are all in this together. many of the theartres of war mention have nothing to do with islam. you should also remember that it takes 2 to have a war. perhaps there is a degree of persecution agianst muslims. just look around on this site and you will find it.

There is not guilt shown by the us soldiers in iraq or israeli soldiers when they blow up a civilian family either

critisicing islam or muslims is considered wrong according to what i hear. but muslims have all the rights to do what they want.

there are too many people who are afraid of muslims. if some action is not taken against these muslims our world will be wiped out

islam is a threat not only to non muslims but muslims as well
