To the guy who asked if I like Joey Jordison. Yes! He is basically my idol, I always wanted to be like Joey and someday will. Plus, he can play guitar and drums well. How cool is that?

Christmas was originally the pagan feast of saturnalia in the meditteraenian world and yuletide in the northern european world. The christians adopted December 25th as their date of Christmas. Of course aethiests do not believe in the old pagan gods, but bare in mind that Christmas is not an entirely christian festival and one does not have to believe in the gods to enjoy a festival. Especially when most of the world, and most of the world is not christian, celebrate it in some form or another. Besides, it's a fun thing and being recognised by society we might as well have fun. For we all need some holidays and relaxation. I myself enjoy watching these religious movies. They put on a great show. And it is entertainment. So of course we enjoy christmas day. If there was some other thing, as Easter, then we enjoy that to. By the way easter also has a pagan origin.
You don't have to believe to enjoy. They are two different facilties.

I rejoice Christmas by remembering those who're a lot less fortunate than i'm. So particularly of status outdoors a keep for hours before it opens on the day after Thanksgiving, battling crowds and grabbing the "ought to-have" toy from somebody else so as that i ought to spend way too a lot on my baby who already has adequate, i'm getting a pair names off the Salvation military's angel tree and be certain the youngsters who've to scrape by well-known have a minimum of faster or later at the same time as they believe in magic. We also favor to take Christmas dinners and cookies to the human beings who're operating that day alongside with the gasoline station attendants.

It's a birthday party, right? They give me the day off, a lot of my friends cook good stuff that day, the Latin folks throw a dynamite dance, and in general everybody has a ball. Anything that brings people together for a good time is fine with me - Christmas, New Years, Solstice, Kwanzaa, May Day, Halloween (in NYC of course). Some people think the birthday- boy is God. I don't, but hey! let's have a toast to humanity!

i love Christmas and am atheist. The whole time of year is great. My family, although not religious., has always celebrated Christmas and i just see it as a fun tradition. Everyone needs a break from school and work.
Plus most of the Christmas traditions were pagan in origin, but tradition gets passed along regardless of what religion takes over.
Merry Giftmas.

Christmas has extremely little to do with Christianity anymore, not that it ever truly did.
But regardless, yes, I'm just as big a fan of eating, decorating, and gift-giving as anyone else.
The majority of the Christian traditions are pagan in origin, anyway, and are now simply customs, having little religious significance whatsoever.
I also enjoy Halloween, btw.

Yes of course. I enjoy the time spent with family both immediate and extended. And with a ten year old daughter Christmas morning is an absolute joy.

I enjoy getting to meet up with the family, sharing things and exchanging presents- more to show you're aware of their personal desires and interests rather than material flashiness. So, yes, at the very least I do.
