I never want life to end, and in my search for everlasting life, God found me, And I came to know him throught his only begotten Son Jesus Christ. His Holy Spirit is living inside me now as proof that He is real, and I have no more fears, not of death, or anything that may come my way. I read the Holy Bible and believed it to be the truth, I agreed with God that I was a sinner, that his Son Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins, that God raised him from the dead, and I can have eternal life by confessing my sins, and inviting Jesus Christ to come in to my heart, and be my Lord and Savior. In the book of John,10:9 Jesus said,"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved. In Revelation 3:20 Jesus said, "Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
Do you want everlasting life? By Jesus Christ you can! Isn't it worth your time to find out the truth?

If God never put his Holy Spirit inside my body, to help me learn how to be the person he wants me to be, then I would give up and have no hope, but what you don't understand is Christians have a Spirit living inside them, that wasn't there before, and it is that Spirit that gives us our faith, that God is very real.

True we all will have everlasting life, and true not everyone will be in Heaven, there is the lake of fire for all that choose it.

With such a small mind that we all have, some can't understand, that we will have a new body, one thay will never grow old, and a new mind, with foeever to enjoy real life. I for one don't want to live forever in a lake of fire, that I believe to be very real!

Zarathust, We are not to put on a show, like praying out loud just so people will look at us. Or making a big deal out of helping the poor, so others will think we are good. I hope this answer helps.

I already have eternal life, I received it when I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior, my body might perish, but my spirit will live on.

Blessed you are for your faith my friend. Its true Jesus knocks on the door and you have opened, and now you know, what its like to feel the Lord living in you. I wanted eternal life, but more so a relationship with my creator, (the inner peace that he gives me). I have asked the Lord into my heart, quite some time ago, and never has my life been the same since.

God Bless

The truth is, we all will eventually be together in Heaven, this is the good news, this is the real gospel that is hidden. Every life that is created is healed and kept by the Creator. If you love the people whom are not like you, you will have a spirit that is brighter.

Already got "everlasting life" and already "know god" just without Jesus as an intermediary, no need.
why do you need a mediator between you and God?

honest question. is your god unwilling, or unable to give you those things you say you get "through" jesus, directly?

mine is willing, able, and has done so, ... that is, given such things, without the need of a mediator.

Well I hate to bust your bubble, but everlasting life is not a human possibility, and as a spiritual being you will have no memory of your life here on earth, so really what is ever lasting life, it is simply not a physical possibility, as for a spiritual possibility well even Christ was not able to confirm that, Unfortunately he is dead and he wont be back, so you will just have to wait and see, I really hope your not disappointed, God bless.

Yes I too would like to live forever, and you can get to live for ever never to die, we are living in the time when that is possible, for all who learn what we need to do to get that benefit, if we are living by Jesus example then we would be placing ourselves inline to get therealso John17:3 says we have to learn about God and the one he sent forth Jesus Christ yes we must get accurate knowledge, which is not amongst those that say Lord Lordm (Matthew7:22) And to those that say they wwould be bored living forever well all I can say is tell me the date you want to die but since you cannot tell me then just try to think on what day you would like to go. you will find that really deep down you want to hang on to life too, because you don't know how you could really enjoy life to the full, this life on this planet here is not the way our life will be, it's not the way it was meant to be, and I can understand that if you were to live forever like we are living at this time then you wouldn't care to live like this, forever, but if you imagine it that way you are missing the point, the life that God has promised us is nothing like this one we have now(Revelation21:4) No offence just trying to show you what you would miss out on!

we're gonna have eternal life no matter what. every soul will be reserected. it's where we go after judgement day that matters: The Celestial Kingdom (Glory as bright as the sun/ heaven), the Terestial Kingdom (Glory as bright as the moon, no forever familes) or the Telestial Kingdom (Glory as bright as the stars on a black night, no forever familes) or even Outer Darkness (HELL!). Jesus judges us based on the desires of our hearts and the actions we perform. Do i want everlasting life? i get it even if i don't. Let's make the question more specific. Do i want Everlasting life in heaven with God by my side with my family forever? ABSOLUTELY! think of it that way

thoughtful question...great comments...I'll see you there! by the looks of some of the answers though, there's some sad people out there who don't enjoy the peace that come with the hope we hold in our hearts of the Lord returning to get us. John 14:1-3

I do
Perhaps you could explaine this bit of scripture to me:
Beware of practicing your righteousness before men to be noticed by them; otherwise you have no reward with your Father who is in heaven.

Do you understand the meaning of the word hypocrisy?

You will die like the rest of us. If you mean that thing about everlasting life in Heaven, sinners get everlasting life to, just not in Heaven. You're pushing the wrong incentive.
