if I said somethign I shouldn't have and hurt someone in the process and maybe ended a relationship between two people as what i said was maybe taken the wrong way - what would you do to correct the situation? I feel bad but have a feeling the woman involved is really upset.......

apologize. a lot of times, i try to ignore what i said, but that does no good b/c the other people remember. people appreciate the effort and it says a lot to admit when you've done something wrong or hurtful. it will be hard and maybe awkward at first, but it will be the best thing. apologize and talk it over to understand each other.
