Advil is Ibuprophen, not acetaminophen - that's tylenol. They both have the same dose of benadryl in them - that's the Pm part. I like Advil better - it's better for swelling or inflamation of any type - but don't take more than what it says. You can just get an economy size bottle of Advil (or generic Ibuprophen) and a generic bottle of benadryl - take 2 Advils and 2 benadryls and you will get the same effect for half the cost.

Tylenol PM definitely works better for my mother. She goes to sleep within 30 minutes and sleeps soundly all night long. With Advil it takes longer for her to tall asleep, she is up and down all night long and the sleep she does het is restless. However, she has liver disease and is NOT to take Tylenol but rarely. I need to find another medication!

They are the same things...a pain reliever with a sleep aid. My personal choice is Advil, Ibuprofen is an anti-inflamitory. And Tylenol just seems to make me a little weird...However, if you have any allergies, drink alcohol, take any prescription meds, especially anti-depressants, or if you have high blood pressure, you shouldn't take Advil, unless your doctor prescribes it for you, as it will raise your blood pressure, and can cause drug interactions.

Hope you get some sleep!

My personal fav is Tylenol PM.
I don't wake up groggy.
Take it one hour before you want to go to sleep.

and don't let the bedbugs bite.
