i was born into catholism and am now an closet atheist. are u trying to say there a connection between being raised catholic and leaving christianity? Never thought about it interesting hypothesis. Good luck with your poll

I for one was raised a catholic. In fact I had the distinction of being baptised twice as they thought I was going to die when I was a baby. I have met many ex christians and the majority I have found are ex catholics. This is because of the way the Roman Catholic Church has acted since it's formation. People are alerted to the fact that there might be something wrong in christianity. They then begin to investigate. And not all of them turn out like Martin Luther. Perhaps it may be time the catholic church had a good hard look in the mirror.

The Catholic church withers much less than other Christian churches. Especially evangelical churches, who "convert" maybe thousands but only retain about 10%.
The Catholic church has change a lot in the past couple decades, because the bishop in the 60's believe it had become outdated. Anyway...
I am a convert to Roman Catholicism.

This question has to seem bizarre to anyone who wasn't a catholic. I'm sure most former catholics/Christians understand the question.
I was raised catholic, but today I consider myself to have no religion.

Catholics ARE Christians. As a matter of fact they were the first Christians. They were the people who "coined" the phrase Christian.

properly, i'm nonetheless a Catholic. I actually have referred to an excellent type of persons were different Christians and are literally Catholic or alot of persons returning to the church, yet no longer lots any opposite direction round.
