No that is not true. You people are constantly saying to those who speak the truth...'your no Christian, Jesus teaches love' Jesus is coming with a sword. Jesus did not come to MAKE peace He came to CREATE peace. Sitting back watching sin and doing nothing about it acting like it does not exist. WRONG. When you see your brother in sin you are supposed to help correct him, to save him from death. How do you know who is a true Christian or not? Is that not judging. Jesus wants the evil weeded out and exposed in the light.

Many people believe in a make-believe Jesus and not the Jesus of Scripture. The Jesus of Scripture whipped the money changers out of the Temple. He was not afraid to call the people hypocrites if they deserved it. This same God is the same God that caused the couple that lied to the Holy Spirit about the funds from the land they sold to fall down and die. This is a just God. God is merciful yes, but, he is also just.

I think that Jesus "taught" love - unconditional love. But everyone is saying that you have to have Jesus as your lord and savior. Well he was, at least on earth, just a man with a good message. It has been prostituted over the centuries to something he would never have recognized. The gnostic gospels were written by Mary Magdalene and Thomas - 2 people that knew him well and they wrote about how god and salvation is inside you - but that sort of philosophy does not make the church rich so they had to come up with something that would scare everyone into giving to the church just to get saved - the catholic church made millions, and is still making million, on indulgences. The more you can frighten people the more they will pay you to be saved. And they are looking for recruits. Be a good person and keep your head together and you will never go to hell.

Everything Jesus teaches is love. Sometimes it may be what is called "tough love" but it's always love. As far as weeding out the evil goes, that is God's job, not ours. He will do that on judgment day. Our job is to spread the good news of His grace.

Actually, Jesus taught tolerance.
If we work hard to be the kind of person
that people like, people will like us.
