...That asked for an opinion regarding the translation of religious texts. I guess "opinion" is a word that triggers their censors. I'm posting this one to see if it makes it.

What is your opinion of translating holy writ? Do the words lose something thereby?

Happy, I asked it three times before and it never even *made* it to the forum. Then they pulled it from my stats page and charged me 10 more points! Not that the points matter, but...?

Try writing to Yahoo at the address below. I have done so before, and while I have not had a personal response, they took action based on my email (I was reporting a racist person who made death threats, someone who was still posting hatred, despite numerous reports by several members).

Yahoo says that they are improving the reporting system, and I have read that they will give back points if someone has been deducted without just cause. Good luck. Here is their address:

The question is, why would a god who wanted people to know his teachings not make the book in all languages? God is suppose to be all knowing. But he left it in the hand of man apparently. Man who is forever in sin. One of the most common sins is to lie especially for ones own profit. So unless god made 100% sure nothing was ever changed, I don't see how it is holy at all.
