Children have magnificent imaginations, that over the course of time become very repressed. They imagine things so vividly and have not learned at that age to distinguish between real and imaginary. In that manner, it can be very real to the child. As our senses and minds develop, we learn to discriminate and tell real from imaginary. If this continued through various stages of development, I would be concerned but for a child that age, it seems like it is nothing to worry about.

Well he could have an imaginary friend or he could be seeing something that we as adults do not see. They children are very sensitive to spirits, if you believe in that. I am sure it is nothing to worry about and he will grow out of it. Good luck.

It has been said that children have a very high esp rate. or he could just have an imaginary friend does he interact well with other children or does he shy away. If he interacts well with other kids don't worry about it. if he doesn't interact well then you may want to talk to the pediatrician because he could be Disassociating himself

I think he does...my first son had an imaginary friend who he called Friday, Friday disappeared after about 4 years old, then one day my second son who was 2 and a half was chatting away in his room, when i asked him who he was talking to he said Friday. I asked my older son if he had told his brother about Friday and he looked confused and said "who on earth is Friday", realizing that he didn't remember his imaginary friend i quickly decided that Friday wasn't quite as imaginary as i thought.....spoooooooky

He probably has an imaginary friend which is very normal for a toddler. If you are REALLY concerned, have him professionally evaluated.
Or he could be a budding "Sixth Sense" kind of kid.

He might be able to see spirits. You better thank your lucky stars that they don't scare him, and that they aren't demonic.
That is really cool. Ask him questions about the person he is talking to, and see if you can find out about the history of your home.

He could have been one of the rare few, born with a sixth sense ! But then, when my son was running a high fever, he also told me all the things he "saw".

He has an imaginary friend - very normal. be glad he's so imaginative :). Maybe ask him about him/her sometime and ask him what they talk about and more details about him/her. that will help you to see if there is a problem, or if he's just using his imagination to the fullest. :)

Either he has imaginary friends or is talking to a friendly ghost. Did you have a relative die recently? Gradparent? I wouldn't worry about it.
