Beagles absolutely!! I had one named Henry when I was a small child. Henry was so cute, playful and sometimes just nuts acting. I loved him so much. He died when I was 13 years old and I never got another dog after that. Now I own two female cats and am content!

BOXERS!!!! I love them. They've got cute pudgy faces, but very elegant, and they also are super good with kids. Lots of people have misconceptions about them, though, because they used to be bred as vicious war dogs. It's the same thing with alot of other breeds too. Those people don't understand that it's usually the owner's fault if their dog is mean. Anyway, Boxers a super friendly and cute, very smart, loyal, and they're not too big or too small. They're the perfect dog for me.

Staffordshire Bull Terriers hands down.
Great with people, esp kids (used to be known as the Nanny dog)
Loyal
Courageous
Smart
Emotionally sensitive
Physically solid (don't feel like I'll accidentally squish them)
Have high energy to keep up with you in outdoor activities
Can chill on the couch when you are done
Rarely bark
Have short fur - minimal shedding, no grooming
Not too big, not too small... just right!

In big dogs, I love golden retrievers. They are so beautiful. Red Irish setter's come in to a close first.For small dogs, I love the Maltese and the Scotty.

Brittneys. very gentle and kind and very obediant if trained well. very good with children and very loving and faith full. I have a 13 year old and a 15 and a half brittany. they are not mean or agressive. check out the personalities of dogs on pet behavior.com

my favorite dog is a dog that grows no bigger than 2ft. i like dogs that don't get bigger than me. l ike these types of dogs because you can hold them and treat them as if they were your own. i like dogs where you can dress them up like people and they will look cute in whatever you put them in. those are the type of dogs that i like. besides those are the most dogs that are going to love you no matter what.

My favorite dog is a Labradoodle! They are beautiful and smart (often used as seeing eye/seizure dogs) and can be bred to be less allergenic than some dogs ( more poodle, less lab). They are also great with kids and very loyal!

I like boston terriers (had one)...I like short hair Jack Russell Terriers..(have one)
RuttWielers (had one)
and last and favourite is Bull Terrier the Spuds Mckenzie Dog..and or Target dog..(want)

The Bloodhound, the only dog so gentle that they wont take training for guard or attack dogs. Best nose of all dogs too!
