I am going to try to eliminate bottles altogether but I also want to make sure my son does not get dehydrated. How many milk cups and juice cups in a day??

Think what I read an average toddler should not drink more than 24oz of milk in one day. AND 6-8 oz of juice.

So when you thin a sippy cup is about 5-6 oz. I usaually have my 15 month old daughter 1 sippy cup/regular glass of milk at each meal. anD MAYBE 1 CUP Of juice diluted during the day

Only 4 oz of juice , 20 ounces of milk in a single day

or (1) cup - 4 oz juice (2-3) 6 -8 ounce cups milk

My pediatrician recommends this , juice is really not needed so if you wish to skip it dont worry. If you do skip juice give your baby
(3) 8 ounce cups of milk per day :)

I have a 2yr old who drinks contantly... I asked my doctor about it because I was worried about diabetes. He said as long as there was no other symptoms she is fine. I think every child is different. I do give her juice but I still cut it - 1/3 juice and the rest water. That way she's not getting all that sugar but she's not just drinking plain water.
