That is actually a myth. Which means it's false. People say that, but it's not true. You get sick from viruses and germs, not going outside with wet hair.

In my culture, I was brought up being told that I can't go out with wet hair, and although I know it's not true, I try not to go out with wet hair, but when I do...I never get sick.

If it's so easy to get sick - then those people out on a chilly day without an umbrella would have all got sick if it starts to pour suddenly. This is really an old wife's tale

Yes, you will. That is the precise reason that I do not take my showers in the mornings. When the weather is cold, your immune system is too busy trying to keep you warm. If you are exposed to a bacteria or virus, the chances that you catch those is great because your defense mechanism is very low.

Well, the short answer is mayb. If you go outside with wet hair and you are really cold it could increase your risk of getting hypothermia but you genuinely only catch a cold or the flu from germs.
Hope that helps.

No, but if you get out from the shower and go out without drying it then it makes your head feel rather unpleasantly cold.

However, the same principle doesn't seem to work if you go out with it dry and then get rained all over.

no wet hair does not make a person sick. you have to be exposed to a virus to become sick.

You can't get very sick, you do get a cold or headache though. The water gets cold on your head. Why wouldn't you beleive that it wouldn't get you sick? It's totally true that you can!!
