Friendly Hello, This can be caused by a vitamin defficancy. Even preium dog foods do not have the necessary vitamines for your dog. A deficiency in vitamin C is a deficiency in the healing, glandular, circulatory, immune, and regenerative abilities of the body. Vitamin C is a major factor in the formation and maintenance of bones and tissues, prevents cancer, and may prevent arteriosclerosis.
The classic vitamin C deficiency is scurvy, with gum disease, urinary tract ifections, loss of teeth, weakened bones, bleeding, bad breath, and general debilitation. Signs of clinical scurvy have been apparent under stress.
In dogs, [vitamin C] can totally resolve the problems of dysplastic hips in younger dogs and arthritis in older ones, as well as help or cure spinal myelopathy, ruptured discs, allergies, viral infections (including distemper), and skin problems. After the "cures," the pet needs to stay on C, but in lesser amounts.
The vitamin is an antioxidant, a pollution fighter that cleans toxins from the blood and tissues.
It helps protect against the side-effects of some veterinary drugs (including steroids/cortisone), and it is a major pain reliever.
It keeps the teeth strong in aging pets and retards the aging process.
Supplementing with vitamin C is a major disease preventive; therefore it's emphasized in the daily feeding plans.
Supplementing with vitamin C can mean the difference between life and death in the case of a sick cat or dog.
Contrary to myth and rumor, vitamin C will not cause kidney stones, it dissolves them.

She may need a second dosing to actually get it under control if it was so serious a case. There also should have been a special shampoo for her. She is miserable and the yeast infection alone would drive her crazy. Worse than a bad case of poison ivy!!!
Does that help you understand what she is feeling?
Call her vet and advise. There are some heavy duty meds to help this condition which can take awhile to get under control. And ask about the shampoo. I forget which one is used. In rescue we get so many dogs eat up with bad skin conditions. It will take some time as yeast infections of the skin are a real bad and painful problem. Keep an eye on her ears also.
Didn't say how long she has had this or if anything in her environment changed prior to problem. Change of food? Keep her bedding washed regular to help keep down odor especially after you get the right shampoo and topical treatment for her skin.

My old dog had a similar condition. He would scratch and chew himself raw, and the smell. The antibiotics are for the open scratches, the prednesone stops the itch but neither fix the problem. Some dogs are alergic to fleas (one fleabit is all it takes) get your vet to suggest a good flea treatment and how often. My old dog was 163 Lbs. he was on advantage every two weeks and almost all the hair grew back. worst case senario have the vet take a skin sample for demadetic mange.

It sounds as if your dog has food allergies. I suggest you try putting her on either Wellness, Canidae, or Nutro Ultra (it has to be the holistic one) and see if it clears her skin up. The food is expensive but in the long run you will pay more in vet visits. I have dealt with this myself with two of my seven dogs. Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to email me.

I prefer hair which is shoulder length or longer, And since that men who like females are more often then not directly, they like long hair because it looks more feminine, as most guys have short hair.
