There will not be any legal issues stemming from your decision to date an eighteen year old girl.
Under the Uniform Criminal Code, the basis for the laws of most states, there are no laws governing the age differences between legal adults [people 18 and over] who choose to engage in relationships.
For couples where one or both partners are under the age of consent, [in most cases, 18 is the "age of consent] most states allow for a three year age gap between the participants.
If one party, especially if that happens to be the male party, is more then three years older then the minor partner, the law does not believe that the younger partner has the mental capacity to consent. Because the law does not believe that it is possible to consent, any sexual relation engaged upon under these conditions are considered statutory rape, a felony offense that carries a maximum sentence of 20 years.

If she is actually 18 you don't have to worry about statutory rape, girls are generally more mature than guys, and 18 to 22 is only 4 years ... why would you think there could be a problem. If you were 44 and she 40 .. would you be asking this question?
Not at all!! Go for it! Just respect yourself and her.
Good luck - I hope she likes you just as much as you like her!

Nope. You can be a great help to her educationally and she may be inspirational for you in continuing on. You are of the same generation and shouldn't be a problem. But be aware that if she is just starting college she is going to meet a whole lot of guys on campus and you may be overlooked because now you have to go thru the process of "using" your education. She hasn't come to that reality yet. Ask her. Have a good time. Expect nothing more.

Honestly I had that same problem, except I was eighteen and going into college. It was very hard to stay in touch, because of his job and my college sched. It is a hard situation to go through I wish you more luck then I had.

nooooo relax thats an OK age gap....... the only thing is that you are getting out of things as she is getting into things. but the whole age gap evens out because boys are immature for there age (no offence) and girl are mature.
well......good luck anyway
