If there is a God, I think that he is able to see the future. He'd be able to see my future. So no matter what I do, my future is set. You can't really change the future (because the future will happen no matter what).

Pretty much your analysis is spot on. Basically, whether you believe or not, there is a god (or more) or not. Your belief cannot change it but it can change you. So if believing makes you, say, more charitable (and doesn't impair your earnings) the world benefits. On the other hand, if you don't believe but simply increase your charity (but don't impair your earnings) the world still benefits. So basically, no your belief doesn't matter, only your actions. If you want to credit a belief for your actions that's fine.

With classical physics there is no free will (because energy & particles move according to specific laws), however with quantum physics it’s all very different and mind (if it’s quantum based and they believe so) transcends matter/energy and so this would mean that mind has true free will and it’s fully in control of its own destiny (future). Now presuming this god thing exists, why do people insist (it) must know the future? To me a cool god is one who turns off the all-knowingness mechanism. Many scriptures support this advanced theology but most people won’t even consider it.

good point. so you decided to what, just lay in bed and not do a dang thing because you think it will all happen anyway????

If you were driving down the road and were headed for a tree or about to drive off a cliff, would you make an effort to avoid the accident, or would you just say, oh well, if it happens, it happens and there is nothing I could do???

God does see the future, I hope he sees you waking up and moving ahead, not just depending on fate.

To be completely honest with you, everyone has their own believes. If you believe in God that is great i know i do and i love him very much, and thank him every night that he came into my life as well as my families life! You`re right he does know the future and he`s the ONLY one that can revel it and what happens.I don't know about you but i trust in the Lord.Myself personally i don't preach to NO ONE,but i do let them know about Jesus Christ.
Have a great day/night and God bless you and your family.

being outside of time God thinks radically different than you or i.
the bible says "your thoughts are not my thoughts nether your ways my ways"
we have our choices regardless of Gods knowlage this is a hard concept to grasp.

God knowing the outcome is in a seperate "reality" than when you have the choice

it does matter if you believe in God because we have offended him with our actions. there is hope the Great Hope of Christ who came to earth to be our sacrifice for sin that we might die to sin and ressurected that we might ressurect into his rightiousness.

all this may seem confusing but eternaty depends on it.
do you know for sure where you will go when you die? Christ gives us that assurense freely if we believe in him and his accomplishment.

Lets just say that you are in control of everything you do, say, and your destiny, but yet you are still a slave to genetics and personality. Your future is what you make it, you have free will and choice, but God just happens to know the choices you will make. I still believe I can accomplish almost anything I want, but I have to do it myself and create it myself, and if I can't its my fault.

God believes in Man having free will. He has provided you with all the proof you need to believe in him. It's up to you whether you decide to accept him. He's reaching out to you. Will you reach back?

This is not true. God gave everyone FREE WILL! It is only because God created us and all creation he is omniscient (all knowing).
