I was invited by an acquaintance to this incredible beautiful church. When i first walked in there, it felt like I was suddenly whizzed to the 16th century. The women wore no make up,they had long dresses, wore their hair long. They also do not beleive in televisions. There is a verse in the Bible that says, "If your right eye offend thee,pluck it." So does that mean,they don't want to offend their right eye so they don't watch t.v.?

ok i think i know what church u r talking about they believe it is wrong to watch tv because they believe that it is putting an idol before agod why wear make up god makes all people beauitful they long hair well it does say in the bible that a womens hair is her glory it also says that a women should not wear clothes that belong to a man if i had more time i would find the verses in the bible but i dont know where they r by heart

No and TV is bad every young kid watches hours of TV because there young parents don't know better or what to do with them or don't have the money to take them some wheres, I not saying its there fault just look at TV its kid friendly, and an added expense for what make believe that children unknowingly are being exploited to spend there money when they grow up, dam I would go to that church

I have never heard of such a Church...
But there are a lot of discusting things portrayed on TV that our eyes do not need to see....And some Avatars on this site that have already scarred my eyes for life!! So be careful of some of them!

Many Christians choose not to watch TV because of all the immoral content. Jesus meant that you should find the source of whatever is causing you to sin and destroy it.
