The 2001 YUKON 4.8L AND 5.3L HAD FREQUENT PROBLEMS WITH THE FUEL PUMP and emissions. Look at this reliability rating report for that vehicle " Occasional problems on this vehicle are failures of the Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Vent Solenoid and the Fuel Pump."

The Yukon XL comes with the 5.3 V8 and the Yukon XL Denali comes with the 6.0 V8 In primary making use of circumstances you does not see a million or 2 mpg huge distinction between them. If I had the alternative i could pass for the Denali.

plug fuel filter, or cloged injectors, or your fuel pump is becoming week, or your coil packs are having issues, never the less, basic manitance fixes dont cost much

prob a fauled spark plug that would be my best guess.... or a knock sensor going wacky.......

i love racing the little ricers round here with my open exhaust, i rev my motor and it kills there car out cause the knock sensors are reading the vibrations from my car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)
