Do you want on your wedding night to say... "Hmm... blank's sex was better" Besides that, when you have sex, you're giving away pieces of yourself, your mind. When you have sex, a chemical in your brain is released that makes you feel close to your partner. So having sex with different people has adverse effects.

Besides, no sex = no STD's.

This question is more complicated than some of the answers make out. I don't think sex before marriage is anything bad or unusual, but I am not bound by the code of your religion. If you are devout and believe that it makes you bad then I would say this is something to consider. I know that the excuse that all people sin allows you to ask forgiveness if you have made a mistake, but that does not allow you to go and do the sin and then go ask forgiveness, that would be an abuse of the confession. I know many good christians who have a more pragmatic approach to the rules set out in the bible, which is the imperfect word of man (don't let anyone fool you). The short of it is if you think it is wrong then don't do it! Some people will think less of you for having the sex and others for letting yourself down. I believe sex is so great because nature wants us to have kids and people spend far too much time thinking they are above nature, and can ignore reality. Good luck with your decision, either way there is a place for you and those you love on this plant.

Wait until your at least 18 if your hormones are raging. Just keep in mind, you set an emotional connection to everyone you sleep with, unless your a psycho. So you dont want to clutter your mind with a bunch of guys you banged, the best thing to do is not be the first person to "do it", because its like the first person to jump off the golden gate bridge if something goes wrong.

Make sure that later, when you decide to do it, test out the pill beforehand to see if you can take it without getting sick. The one year pill messes up your hormones, dont do it. Condoms break but if you use spermicide you'll be better off.

Best to try all medications long before trying anything with someone.

Go to college for 4 years, get a good job, then see if you can manage your life before complicating it with kids.

You can have physical problems if you start having sex too early. Everyone I know who got married early (like 20 or younger), shotgun wedded, or accidentaly knocked up is fairly miserable wish they did it differently even a couple years afterwards.

sex is a very powerful thing. I think the first time should be with someone you love, respect, adore. Someone whose genes you wouldn't mind sharing (as even your very DNA combines when you have sex. and i don't mean children. i mean that pieces of that other person's DNA gets incorporated into your own and vice versa). and what better person than your spouse? However, my husband and i didn't wait, though we were each other's first and onlys, and that's very special. I never ever have the problems some of my friends do of comparing them to others, of moments i may have regretted, etc. I say, wait for the right person.

I think its better to save yourself for that one person

To be a clean person and saving ur love for the other
makes the connection so much more beautiful
and worth meaning

think of it this way

you are a rose
a beautiful one
and everytime you have sex to who knows who,
you wilt:
a petal falls off

and when the person finds someone who they TRULY love
all they have to give is a wilted flower

so why not give that special someone a beautiful rose??

wow
sorry
i felt like I strayed a bit
:)

The consequences of sex can be so life-changing that it is better to make sure you have a partner that will stand by you!!

This means a written contract.

In addition, it is best to spend alot of time with that person before signing that contract, so you really know if you can put up with all their faults and goofy things they do, and they can put up with all your faults and goofy stuff you do.

What do you think is wiser? If you give your virginity away on your marriage bed. You can be sure your marriage will be a meaningfull one and perhaps lifelong.
