We need a cool name for our puppy. He's a shitzu-weiner dog. kinda long and pretty scruffy, he's really cute. We need a name that will go well with Kensington and Finnigan (the cats).

You could go with a Finnegans Wake reference, like Humphrey (better than Earwicker).
Of you could go with Hyde, going for the Hyde Park - Kensington Gardens reference.
Widget is a cute scruffy small dog name.

I love the name Higgins from the bultler on Magnum P.I. It was a good English name The name Maxwell from the show The Nanny. Conrats on the new addition to the family.

Sounds like it needs a name that really fits with those cats like, Francis, Serendipity, Isidore, Jacques-Perceval, Léon, Gauvain, Théophile, Maximilien, or even Fortuné. Just a few french names I figure could go along with the names of your other animals or just fit the dog period. Hope this helps.

I always tell people to google a hawaiin/english dictionary then think of words that describe your dog and type them in...hawaiian names are so unique and beautiful and when some asks you why you named your dog what you did you can say.."it means dog in hawaiian...or long, or brown, or cute, or small"
