On a females perspective. I was a hot wife who "let herself go" (Not in weight though. I did it because I didn't feel like looking good for him or like i wanted to impress him (that's all i felt he deserved from me). Gaining weight is a sign that your wife isn't happy with you and/or feels it pointless to look attractive for you. Realize that this is usually trouble for the relationship and your wife's self esteem.

When I met my hubby I had twins who were 3 yrs old. I was 115 pounds and 5'5". We then had two children in 2 1/2 years. Wether women get rid of the weight from kids (if you guys have any kids) has alot of factors at play. Women who use the excuse "well, I've had kids...that's why I am so fat now." Is an outright lazy lie from at least 75% of the population of women. There are also alot of women who medically cannot get rid of the weight no matter what diet they go on or how much they work out. That's the metabolism factor. Nothing you can really do about that...except maybe take some pills that are supposed to increase your metabolism...But you have to get off your tail and do something for those to work, too. Then there are the women who are comfortable with the fact they are heavy and don't mind it. AND NEITHER SHOULD THEIR SPOUSE/SIGNIFICANT OTHER!!! If you only married her cuz she was hot...then you are a shallow a**hole. Total of 4 kids for me and I am now 128 pounds....still heavier than I was. I was the "hot" wife, too and still am if you ask my husband. Sure, I have some self esteem issues. But none my husband has re-enforced in me. Go ahead and tell her she is fat and watch her self-esteem plummit. Then she will really let go of herself! I have been there and done that. Women are fragile creatures and we need to be told that we are still beautiful. I have 4 boys, 5 animals, and an online business. I do alot of sitting on my tail. I don't work out, I eat chips all the time, drink soda like the world supply will be gone tomorrow...Yeah I can stand to loose a few pounds. But when we get in the bed my hubby is right there wanting me and telling me how gorgeous I am. Exactly like he should be. Maybe if you took a llittle more interest in her and her life she might care about how she looks. as long as you keep being an assenine pig like you are now, things will only slide further down the hill because she will get even more depressed with herself and how she looks. Take some time to show your wife you still love her and want her despite everything and she will start to want to be more sexy and thinner for herself and YOU believe ir or not!!! I bet you're not exactly what you are now as when you married her either. No one stays the same. Weight, gravity, hair loss, all that good stuff is nature. And unless you can afford plastic surgery and hair plants....TOUGH S**T!!!

It is very sad that you think that way. What if she's had a few of your children and now she has gained weight. What if she is trying to lose it with exercise and diet? Does any of this matter?
Some guys aren't all they were in the beginning. Maybe in the beginning of your relationship you use to make her have an orgasm. Now, you can't even last longer than a GEICO commercial. Should she cheat on you? Should she leave you? What's a man's excuse for no longer being able to produce?

It sounds to me you need to tell your wife or girlfriend, have you been honest enough to tell her or are you one of those that when she asks you dont answer or say "No you look fine". It is probably an excuse for you to **** around. and besides is she any good in bed, I thought that is what men really wanted anyway. you probably lie to her and say you look fine so you can get ****** every night instead of hurting her feelings afraid she wont want you to see her naked, you need to tell her the truth, she may think you think she looks ok for you. And if you care for her, why dont you pay for her Lindora or Jenny Craig.
