this guy is everything i have ever wanted and he is on the football team i cheer for and we were crushing on eachother big time earlier in the season and it just ended. we r friends but i really want to ask him out but im scared for the reaction i might get.should i ask? is it awkward if i were to ask him? i need help here! please!

Girl u need to just go with heart. How ironic! That's what hap penned with me and my boyfriend and we been together for going on 2 years. I liked him for a long time caz i was too shy to say something and no one gave me any advice, so I faced the pressure and told him i liked him and gave him my number. Take that chance and it might be good or it could be bad but lets stay positive lol. Hopefully your take my advice and use it.

If you are really friends and he's not a jerk, I'd say ask him to do something like see a movie.
Most of the guys I knew on the football team in my school work jerks with one exception. He was a nice guy everybody liked.
How does he treat other people? Any sings of a mean spirited person. If no, I'd just ask him, but make sure you do it when other members of team not around. If he is a jerk, don't be surprised if he turns on you.

he seems like he's playing games. I know guys like that. If he really cared about you, he wouldn't want to stop message you or leave you hanging on your birthday. If you really like him, play it cool for the while, don't push up on him and just observe his reaction to anything. sooner or later you would know if he's on games or not. Your a girl, we have instincts. Whatever your instincts say..go with them :D

Start a conversation with him about whatever and if he is being responsive and making conversation back, then ask him if he would like to have lunch with you sometime..Start off easy and see where it goes.
