I've gotta admit, I was hypocritical at times when it came to being friends with the most popular crew in my high school, but sometimes I could care less what they said about me....I ended up being one of the MOST popular chicks during my senior year...I think of it as just pure "luck" ...but some chicks just don't have it, so I wanted to know what you guys think...

I'll be honest, I do care what other people think/say about me in the sense that I don't want people to think I'm a bad person. But do I let other people's opinions of me influence me in any way? NO! I wear/say/think what I want. I don't care if it's considered "popular" or not. And FYI, the whole "popular" thing is totally inconsequential in the grand scheme of things.

It was the same way for me. I didn't fit in at all through high school. I was one of three people at my school who had strangely colored hair, the other two my my best friends. Then my senior year I suddenly knew everyone and was invited to every party...it because you don't care what people think!!! way to go girly!!!

normally the "geeks" are the ones that dont care, and the girls who are popular care...being popular is ****. honestly. i'm a soph, and i was popular last year, but i stopped hanging out with those kind of people, they're all fake and immature....

I never tried to fit in. I was a nerd, proud of it, hung out with my orchestra friends. I only hung out with people who understood me.
...Which, of course was not the popular, or "in" crowd.
Still don't act to fit in.

Always lead, not follow. If you follow, the scenery never changes. The day you leave school, all of that crap won't matter.
