Training will not improve morale. it's the environment they work in, and the conditions whey work under that effects the morale.

First of all, the answer is yes. What type of training are you looking for? Any employee that has proper training will do a better job and feel more confident. Improving morale is a challenge. The training is a tool that helps the company, not the morale of the employees. It's really helpful to improve morale for them to know where they fit in the big picture.

I totally agree with Chris. You can "train" employees til they are blue in the face...that can not raise morale. If people are not content with the environment or situation, training can't change that or their perspective. In my case, when you don't respect the people/company you work for....nothing else can raise your morale, commitment, ethic.....etc.

unless it is a teambuilding exersice, good luck.

try having everyone sit down in a circle, intertwine their arms and have them stand up.

or make a circle and have them pass around a stuffed animal for 60 seconds, with out falling on the floor. if it falls on the floor make them start over. they will finally work it out.

sounds like training isn't the issue. they need to feel like they want to go to work, is there a reason people don't like working for your company? how are they treated? you get what you give.
