Just to warn you, you may want to ask your teacher first if they will accept wikipedia as a credible reference for your paper. Many english teachers refuse to accept it because it is peer edited and so is not backed up and not all the information is valid and proven. Last year, a few students in my class had their whole works cited papers voided for using wikipedia. If they do accept it,

Best thing to do for anythig dealing with citing things using MLA format is to go to www.easybib.com . There it'll give you the way to cite anything you want and put in in a "Works Cited" or "Bibliography" page. As far as citing the quote in the paper, for websites, just put in parenthesis at the end of the quote the website title and the date the site was last updated. You usually only need to put the year.

i.e. "Blah, blah, blah," (Wikipedia, 2006).

And trust me, easybib helped me a TON with all my papers throughout college.

If the site is at the bottom of the page when you print the article write it like that. If not do U know MLA style? (not trying to be mean but MLA style is usually what the teacher wants)

use www.noodlebib.com, it's very, very helpful and even an idiot can use it. Most teachers are VERY antiwikipedia, it's good for general information and all, but don't cite wikipedia! Find some other websites on the same subject and cite them instead, wikipedia is a guideline of common knowledge on a subject and does not always have proof of validity.

Did you know that there is a link on the left side of the screen that will take you to a seperate site that shows you how to cite the site in proper format? Just copy and paste it to your paper.
