my best friend whom i spend every waking hour with and who claims she loves me like a sister and we should stay friends forever (were 16) didnt invite me to a huge party shes throwing on monday...
she didnt say anything about it. i found out some other girl was invited and im like "Jay's having a party?"
shud i ask her about it or what??!!

mayb she just...."FORGOT" ask her (b4 monday hun) and she will probably end up inviting you! I am 13 and i had that problem too. I asked her VERY nicly about her party and she was all, OOO yea here is your invite! (and handed me the card)

It won't hurt to ask. Maybe she thought she told you, and assumed that you would be there because you are best friends. If there is a problem that you were not aware about with her at least asking either way, you will know and can possibly talk it out if you ask her about the party.

Don't take it offensive if you've learned about her party from someone she invited. She might have told you about it but you forgot about it or the other way around... but who cares.... If you got offended by it then the best thing to do is ask her about it... right? :) cheer up girl! don't let a party get in the way of your friendship....

i had that happen to me once except i was invited then they told me the party was off when it really wasnt. I didnt say anything because obviously they dont want you there if you're not invited, it sucks makes you feel left out..

just ask her why she didnt tell you she was having a party. Ask her if she didnt want you to go or something tell her its not a big deal you were just wondering if she were mad at you for some reason. i'm sure she just assumed you knew and didnt think she had to invite you becasue you were going to be there anyway.i' dont think its a big deal just ask her whats up.

yeah, I'd ask her. She might not think it's the right kind of party for you.. or she's inviting people she likes that you may not.. either way.. I'd ask .

i suggest you DO talk to your friend about it
maybe there is a reason why she didnt talk to you about it or mentioned it
and if so, you guys can talk it out
cuz if she is your best friend, you should be able to do so
and she will understand why you would be curious about it

just be like heyy what are you doing on monday? and see what she says. if she lies to you, then maybe shes drifting from you. if shes like OMG i forgot...then just forget about it unless it happens again.
