I have a three year old and this year I am stuffing his stocking with bath toys (crayons, finger paints - washable for me yet fun for him), funky straws, DVDs (Laurie Berkner), coloring books, Crayola Color Wonder Paper and stickers. Instead of candy I'm including some Teddy Grahms and Fruit Snacks. Merry Christmas!

I'm not sure what your family does for stocking stuffers but we keep it extra simple at our house. No fancy or pricey presents go in stockings, just things people need or little snacks and candies. THAT said, this is what I'm putting in my 1 1/2 year old's stocking, feel free to borrow any ideas you like :)

New socks, little cans of playdoh, a package of animal crackers, a new toothbrush, a new rubber duck for the bathtub, number magnets for the refridgerator, and a little Backyardigans Tyrone stuffed doll.

A special tooth brush is a good idea, i used to love getting a barbie one every year!

My little cousins used to love the little animal and dinosaur they sell if your son isn't into cars, those are always a good idea.

Some stickers and crayons and coloring books, or any other creative things, are always fun.

Good luck!

How about a personalized book? Kids really love to hear their own name in the storyline. Go to this website http://www.tlc-expressions.com They have lots of titles to choose from like Sesame Street, Batman, Spider-Man, Dinosaur Land, Scooby-Doo, Looney Tunes, Three Little Pigs and so many more. They are so cute and very reasonably priced....a unique & educational gift! Check it out and good luck...

Board books, small toy cars, pez dispenser and pez, a rescue hero (fisher price), fruit snacks, some small dinosaurs.....

That is what my son is getting, but he likes Jay Jay the Jet Plane, so he is getting some jay jay characters instead of toy cars.

A bottle of bubble bath, a small flashlight (you can find disney themed ones in the lightbulb/hardware aisle of stores like target), a bunch of his favorite fruit snacks or other treats, a keychain or magnet with his name on it, special toothpaste and a toothbrush, matchbox cars, a bouncy ball-- the big kind he can't fit in his mouth ;-), plastic dinosaurs or animals. I would suggest just going to a dollar store or the dollar spot at target and just seeing what they have.
