Ego te amo is not wrong, but not typical either. Normally in Latin. the pronoun (ego) would not be used. Better would be:

Te amo

But in latin you don nedd to say the pronoun so

"te amo" is better

amo amas amat amamus amatis amant - conjugation of the verb 'to love' in latin. all i can remember.
