When you tell them it's wrong, they say you hate or judge them. History talks for itself as who God is really is. He destroyed people for abomination. God is not only love, is he? I don't think so, I believe he has a bad side.

Have you ever heard of the "Erasable Bible?" This allows people to erase what they don't want and keep what they like, this allows people to live their life without feeling guilty.

People do the same thing. They don't want to live the holiness but believe God approves of them through life.
They don't want to give up their lifestyle but don't want the requirements to be in God's presence.

"Why do homos always refer to God as "love" as an excuse to live the way they want?"

You know, you say that Jesus loves everybody yet with the same breath you condemn homosexuals for having a different lifestyle.

"When you tell them it's wrong, they say you hate or judge them."

Because you do hate them and you do judge them, based on a BOOK. A book, for crying out loud.

"He destroyed people for abomination."

In the Bible he did, it was probably a metaphor like Genesis. My God isn't a hypocrite like that. He just lets things play out while guiding us.

"God is not only love, is he?I don't think so, I believe he has a bad side. "

Is God all love? No. Does he have a bad side? Yes and No. He does let bad things happen, but he has a reason for it that is not as sinister as one would first think.

I think it's part wishful thinking and part an ignorance of the Bible and Christian faith.

But they are right about one thing: that the way they are treated is most of the time hateful and judgmental. It's very difficult to tell someone that he is wrong without being accusative. How to make this an expression of love, care and honest concern for the soul of our human fellow who might be in error? Better ask yourself this before you start posting "homophobic" stuff.

It depends on which God your talking about.

The real God is said to be unconditionally loving.

The made up judgmental, punishing God of the bible is little more than nonsense.

I agree with shannon. I have been married for 40 years to a woman I love very much. I lot of straight people think people like you are just bigots.

Love and blessings Don

They refer to God as love because they do not want to acknowledge that He is also a Judge.

Being a Judge cannot be considered God's "bad " side.
God does not have a bad side.

Didn't God also say to love thy neighbour? Are you sad for all the homosexuals who won't be "saved"? We are all God's children. I think you need to walk a mile in a pair of lovely homo-shoes.

Because they want to make it 'alright' that they are living sinful lives. God does love them, but He also acts as a judge. He tells us that being gay is desteble in His eyes. He does not have a 'bad' side, but he has other sides. Other than just love.

Because they are right. They think outside of the box. Maybe that's something that YOU need to learn how to do, instead of being so hateful to people who are different. When you talk like this, it just lets everyone know how homophobic you are.

what church do you go to, what Bible do you read that says it's OK assume the role of God and pass judgment on others? that it's OK to preach intolerance? where in the Bible does it say that God loves us only if we're heterosexual and Christian? you can't pick and choose parts of the Bible you want to believe in, nor can you re-translate it and quote it out of context to justify your bigotry. you're a hypocrite who hates in the name of God, and that makes YOU a sinner!
