if you mean like regular tv on your comp. then you need a tv tuner and some software, but i assume you mean specific shows (the much easier way)....

legally? (i will assume so)

many channels now offer some shows for free (with embedded ads) on their website.

abc was one of the first (and is best at it). I will link to some but your best bet is to go to the site of the show you like and see if they have a link for "full episodes"

there are illegal methods as well (that involve users posting on sites like youtube and others) but many of the new shows are available legally, and i think it will only grow.

you need a TV tunner card then you can connect the cable to the back of your computer.

if you subscribe to basic cable ...all you need is a tv tuner
